Volunteer Committees
We have many committees with varying
responsibilities, all of which are run by volunteers. These committees
are:

ARC-Architectural Review
Committee
Responsible for inspectecing property for
violations of community standards. Reviews and submits to the
BOD, residents requests for outside changes to their property.
Meetings once a month with ongoing inspections through out the
year.

BOD-Board of Directors
The BOD meets once a month for open
meetings once a month for executive sessions, and have many day to day
contacts with the office. See the BOD page for more info. Meetings once
a month

Community Services Committee
Oversees and reviews the
contracts for services rendered by outside contractors such as; concrete
and asphalt replacement, pool services, garbage pick up, painting, tot
lots, and general maintenance. Their recommendations are then sent to
the BOD for action.

Community Watch Committee
Plans and organizes our
community crime prevention events such as. Community Awareness Day and
the weekly Open Gym Night at the Clopper Mill elementary School. As well
as being instrumental in crime prevention liaising with the SCCP.
Meetings once a month with ongoing crime prevention walks through the
community.

Court Representative Committee
Represent Ives from each court meets once a
month to discuss ongoing issues in individual courts as well as the
community at large. reports are then brought to the
BOD

Social/Recreation Committee
Plans and organizes our
community social events. These include; the annual Easter egg hunt,
Fourth of July Parade, teen and adult pool parties, Santa work shop,
Holiday caroling, and the annual community picnic. meetings once a
month

Finance Committee
Reviews and makes recommendations for the
annual budget expenditures for the coming year.

Marketing Committee
Is concerned with the reputation, property
values and presenting the community in a positive way to real estate
salespeople as well as prospective residents.

Paint Committee
As the community ages this Committee is
concerned with the exterior paint and trying to keep a contemporary
look.

Swim Team
Is comprised of kids from our community
as well as the neighboring one. we are the SENECA STORM
-
Seneca Cluster
Community Partnership
This is comprised of members from our
community,surrounding communities, and the police. They are concerned
with overall community based policing and crime prevention. A very
successful group instrumental in getting funding and construction of the
local satellite station nearby. Jim Pierce is co-chairperson meetings
are held the 4th Thursday of the month at varying
locations.
